Award winning TV Series Producer and Shooting Producer/Director

As well as making factual TV programmes, Julian runs popular training courses for TV professionals and business high flyers.

Julian uses skills acquired in twenty years of programme making to lead the Direct Productions team of website designers, marketing professionals, TV researchers and training experts.

One of his roles is to ensure clients and customers are involved at every stage of the creative process, from concept to final product.

Julian has travelled the world making hit programmes for ITV, Channel 4, Five, Discovery US, National Geographic and Animal Planet amongst others, and specialises in wildlife, documentary and current affairs programming.

He was also Head of Production at the largest independent production company in the East of England, heavily involved in budgeting, scheduling and delivering programmes for a variety of broadcasters, and running a programme making department of over 50 people.

Julian personally supervises all our projects, and works to ensure high production values at all times.
